The ratings guide

For some this may be considered a comeback, for me i say no, marilyn never disappeared or died, but i'd rather to call it a reformation, reborn in other words. 

Marilyn decided to re-introduce himself to the world once more to share with the world his new identity and a new chapter in his life. The album begins with the dramatic/epic :D song Hey cruel world, and what a way to start things up, the pretty slow intro of the songs made me wonder how will this song turn out to be then at 00.55 I got my answer pure awesomeness the song took a dramatic change, the whole band made a hell of an effort in this song, i liked the guitar work a lot and the drums are really good in this song, as for marilyn I've never heard him go vocally aggressive like this for a while. 

 Then comes one of the catchiest songs i've heard in a while ((generally speaking)) No Reflection, it will do a gr8 job when he performs it live,nice song make you want to dance or something. 

The next song is Pistol whipped which i consider to be a break, time out after the first two blow jobs songs, the beat is really good and the chorus is nice and catchy. 

  

After the small break we had,  manson hits us with another catchy as fuck song overneath the path of misery this song is creepy as fuck, everything about it is creepy, the lyrics, the music it self and the way manson is singing, manson made a wise choice when he used this song in the born villain movie. 

Slow motion my favourite part of the song in the intro damn i loved the bass intro here :D it was magical, the bass in the whole song is really nice, till now the album is in the right direction. 

The gardener something in this song attracts me, I don't know i really loved it, again the bass is really good in this song, musically this song is really really good, as for the vocals i love the mix between the talking parts and the screaming/singing parts, as for the lyrics they are damn awesome, a really great song.
The flowers of evil A creepy intro which is good, the song is a bit slow at first then it gets a bit fast, not as aggressive as the first 6 songs, but that doesn't mean that it is bad, i love this part

he sings it really well, the lyrics it self is good, so till now the album is great and fresh, it is like a magic show you don't know what else is in the magician's hat.there are a lot of ideas in the album, till now that made me hooked to the album and prevented me clicking the stop button ((it will never happen in any mm album, so don't worry)).   

Children of the chain How can i describe this song?? the best word i can use is doomy, it has this weird doomy feeling, the lyrics here are really deep and yes dark, really dark, a great track it feels different kudos guys. 

Disengaged & Lay Down Your Goddamn Arms  mmm, i don't know i'm not into these two songs much, not bad but not that good, a bit aggressive nothing that special about them, well a little break is not  a bad thing because the next song what can i say?? kick the holy bloody shit out of you.

Murderers are getting prettier every day  Holy fucking fuck, what is not good about this song?? it has old school manson all over it, the holy shit aggressiveness that makes you want to go and shoot someone, without a doubt one of the best songs in the album, i really loved the fast slayer inspired guitar solo it was a great addition. 

Born villain a really good song here, a bit slow, catchy and the lyrics are nice not bad,i love the intro it has this old west feeling, weird i know, i love the song.

 then we hit the last chapter of this epic saga Breaking the same old ground what a way to end this album, i feel that the song is directed to people who want manson to just repeat himself, i love the sad feeling that surrounds the song, it sums up the album, the concept of being reborn, that manson choose something new he won't go back to being the whole antichrist person and he'll close his failed love stories chapter and he'll begin a new chapter of his new self. 

final Thoughts and rating

so in general you can feel the spirit in the whole album, a great team work, you can feel that manson wanted to bring something new and get out of the depressive and emotional mood of the last 2 albums ((which were awesome)) even the cover song he made as a bonus track you are so vain is really good and FUN to listen 2, twiggy made it clear i'm awesome :D and yeah even though i liked skold but damn twiggy has his touch it is not a coincidence that most fan fav songs and albums are the ones from twiggy's era , kudos 2 both men though, a really great album as usual from marilyn,  and for those who didn't like it give it another listen ....
